THERE IS NOTHING AS MAGICAL AS A FLOWER - FOR IT TANTALIZES OUR SENSES
IT'S MONDAY, HERE IS THE THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:
Remember, when you stand still, everyone else is still moving forward!
BRIDGES TO EMOTIONAL HEALTH
Sometimes the best way to deal with sadness and feeling blue is to try and put things into perspective. Ask yourself this,
"How will this affect me tomorrow, next week, next month?" "Is this a lilfe-altering issue?"
"Could I be wrong?" "What can I do to change how I feel?" "Am I making a big deal out of nothing?"
My father-in-law used to say to all of us,
"Don't sweat the small stuff and treat everything as if it were small stuff."
There truly is wisdom behind those words. Sometimes it takes a catastrophic personal situation to make us realize that what we tend to place value on is really not as important as we once thought. For example, if your doctor called today and said you have a terminal illness, how would that change how you view life? Would everything else seem rather small and not sweat-worthy? Then why can't you take that same philosophy now and act as if everything in life is small and not sweat-worthy? Something to think about...
Next week is laugh away your stress..Have something humorous to share? A video? Joke? Personal experience?
Please post it on the funny page, inside....
